Despite Friday deadline, CDC is making it hard to request materials

In response to my blog post notifying people that CDC was closing its Publication Warehouse on Friday August 15, a couple people emailed me saying that the CDC only allowed them to order one or two publications (image above) and told people to “check back tomorrow” because of “high demand for materials.”

Given the high demand, CDC should keep the Warehouse open beyond Friday to meet the public demand.

You can see the Smoking and Health publications here and try to order them, at least until Friday August 15.

At least the Trump Administration is planning to recycle the “unclaimed” publications rather than holding an old-fashioned book burning.
